Non-Nismo Fast intentions exhaust on 15+ Nismo

I have been looking for a Used Exhaust for my 2016 Nismo and the only ones I could find are for a non-Nismo. Has anyone tried installing a Non- nismo fast intentions exhaust on a 15+ Nismo? From what I understand, the only difference is the tips being too far recessed into the bumper. Anyone got the tips extended or modified to fit the Nismo bumper?

Trying to understand if it is better to get a Non-nismo used Catback and modify it or spend more money+ wait time for a new set.

Just get a new one. I did that on my 2012 Nismo. It wasn't bad but it annoyed me.

It can possibly be modified to fit but it all so may or may not come out to your personal liking after it is completed. Best option would be to just order a new Fast Intentions exhaust and wait it will be well worth it if you are interested in the Fast Intentions exhaust. What options are you thinking about ordering it in? Be patient I know a few people that have been waiting for their exhaust from them. The COVID garbage was to blame and not being able to get all materials on time.

An exhaust shop can probably make some modifications to get it to fit. Have you tried just calling FI directly and asking? They are very good at communication and I'm assuming they've gotten this question more than once before.

Yup, I am looking at a new one as well, but saw one for sale close by. Figured I'd see if I can save a couple of bucks

Thanks, I'm also looking at Invidia. Heard some mixed reviews, but then again, they don't make anything Nismo specific. Will probably pull the trigger on a new FI soon
