Default Invidia Catback Owners - Durability Issues

I bought an Invidia Gemini system brand new from a vendor on Facebook a few years ago, currently has MAYBE 25,0000 miles on it, and its developed a metallic rattle/volume increase (think "BLAT" type sound) in midrange RPM under heavy throttle input.

Exhaust was completely fine until a recent drive to CO Springs, where on arrival it developed this characteristic. Took it to a shop to check for leaks and nothing was found so I'm wondering if the excess heat from 8+ hours of driving ended up hurting the resonators or mufflers. No rattles found when poking at it on a lift either.

Anyone else with an Invidia run into this issue? Current set up includes Stillen G3 and test pipes.

Since it’s a straight-through exhaust, there are no baffles so that’s not it. But it could be that some of the perforated material in the resonators or mufflers broke off. But, if I had to take a guess I’d bet it’s one of the external welds (hangers, reinforcement, etc.) that cracked. This happens to a lot of aftermarket exhausts.

This past summer. I had the tack welds that hold the perforated metal break inside on one of my FI tips. I couldn't hear it inside the car. My wife herd it when I started the car up and backed out of the garage. I took my mig gun and put some new tacks on it.

I’m thinking something cracked or tore in the perforated section, because when under the car knocking around on resonators or mufflers we couldn’t find a rattle and nothing sounded loose. Hangers looked fine, plus this is an exhaust sound characteristic, not just a buzz/rattle. I can’t be the only Invidia owner with this issue so I figured I’d fish
