Experiences with shipping from Z1 motorsports to Australia?

Hey, I recently bought a 370z and was wondering if anyone has ordered stuff from Z1 motorsports into Australia. Are there any extra fees other than shipping such as handling fees or anything when it gets delivered to Australia? (I'm planning to get the Greddy evolution GT exhaust but it seems far too expensive on the Australian vendor). Thanks!

Probably import tax?

Wouldn't it be far cheaper to order it from Japan? Z1's shipping is pretty brutal to begin with, I can't imagine what it'd look like going overseas.

Do you know how to get it from Japan?

Hello, Fellow Aussie here.

You will get stung quite a bit for shipping for such a large item and Z1 doesn't have any budget shipping options. You may get a call for import tax, depending on the item, but I have found Z1 to be pretty good at dividing up the order so it will slip through unnoticed. I ordered 4 rotors and they sent them through on 2 different orders so that it came under the tax limit.

Ebay, using the "ebay global shipping" option is sometimes good, if you can find the product you want.

Import Monster is good. Give them a call and they can arrange import of Japanese products via shipping container. Takes a while but they are the cheapest. I got my Ark Grip exhaust from them (they have stuff in stock).

JDM Accessories also is good. They have zippay!

As above, also I've used Jesse Streeter (Streeter Corp) for over a decade without a single issue and the same for Greenline.jp and RHDJapan.

You will now pay customs import duty. I got hit badly by it on my last import, before then Australia hadn't introduced it yet.

NOTE: "On most products imported into Australia, the customs duty is 5% of the value of the goods converted to Australian dollars, but this is dependent on the type of goods imported."
