I have never scraped my FI CBE and I go over speed bumps and all. If a dip crushed his exhaust he was speeding and that caused it. Normal driving over bumps and dips wont scrap, atleast from my experience and I dont do the low rider 1/2 a mile an hour when going over bumps or dips. To scrap the FI CBE the driver has to being doing something wrong. Ive scarped my front end before but not the exhaust.

Installed my ERZ HFC's yesterday! The demon bolt was HELL. Had to rip off the stock cat to be able to break the bolt to remove. In the end I won. Took me like 4 hours! ERZ HFCs are nice and no CEL yet. Extended bung was worthless as the O2 sensor would not install.

Pulled the trigger today and got ERZ/CNT HFC's, the communication with Thomas (ERZ performance) was great and the price was great. Will let you guys know my opinion after I install them. How much of a HP increase should I expect with the stock exhaust? Also considering CNT CBE when it is available.

i finally got mine installed on my stock nismo. exhaust sounds infinitely better with a noticeable increase in volume at all RPM's. it sounds like a true CBE now. however, i have a rattle (which im assuming are the 02 bungs - ill tighten those tomorrow and report back). no CEL's after about 50miles yet. [fingers crossed]

I can tell you that's exactly the cause of my initial rattling too...I have ERZ HFCs as well. The plugs are just hand-tightened when shipped, so you need to get under there and tighten them up. They will loosen quite quickly with a bit of driving otherwise, so don't wait too long to do it.

My ERZ/CNT HFC's have been on for over 1k and I love them and have no issues (CEL). However did received them with one of the O2 dummy plugs missing. Got a hold of Nissan Generation and John sent me a replacement quickly. In conjunction with my Y pipe my car feels faster (butt dyno) and the sound is just right for me (not too loud but not to low).

help! first day driving it for a lengthy period and ive noticed a rattle? i went down and tightened the extra O2 bung caps, and now the idle rattle is gone. while i was down there i knocked on the hfc's and noticed another rattle somewhere in the H-pipe. i removed the heatshield clamps, and out came a few rocks that were rattling in there. no more rattle...or so i thought
started it up and here's another rattle! see the below "video". its more like a sound clip, but theres a weird noise. ive loosened all the bolts and re-situated the gaskets, and retightened them...yet im still getting this disgusting sound! its pretty annoying and ricey sounding. could it be a leak somewhere? should i buy new gaskets? Hard to say with my iPhone speaker but it sounds like the typical decel hiss. Is that with the engine fully warmed up? The HFCs make the decel hiss much more noticeable. Just the nature of the beast.
