one more think my HFC is completely T-304 stainless steel, even the flange is stainless steel (half inch thick) bracket 02 bung all stainless. most exhaust if not all flange are not stainless you can use a magnet to check. Last edited by ERZperformance; 02-25-2010 at 06:23 AM. |

Good call, thanks for the quality control. I'm really considering getting some.

mine are at my house in GA and the wife will be sending them to me here in TX ASAP. I will then be checking mine to see how they look. I hope they are good cuz I want them on quick but if they dont look good the I will have to ask for replacements. At the price that they are being offered, as long as it is good quality material and good builds they are IMO, priced to where they should be and what others should be priced at. I agree post the new pics to show the diference and if it looks good the I think ERZ will be getting alot more business. As consumers we must demand fair prices for good products and competition is key to that.
ERZ, if you keep making good products at a fair price you will make tons of money. edit: And so far you customer service seems to be very good too, another key factor.

Received the replacements today and went ahead and installed them. My buddy bailed on me so I had to do the whole install solo. Went pretty good though. Definitely would have been much easier with a second set of hands. One issue I ran into is that ERZ used some extenders for the O2 bungs. Well they don't have a large enough bore to fit the O2 sensor! I tried to drill it out but only had up to 1/2" bit and it wasn't enough. So I had to install everything without them. I'll see if I get a CEL...
The inlets on these looked much better than the previous set. I'll post the pics up tomorrow and take some video this weekend. I took it for a spin and all my frustrations of the install and the O2 bung melted away. These things sound awesome and I can definitely feel the bump in power. I couldn't be happier with the performance so far. Only took it for a 20 minute drive but so far so good. I'll update with more driving impressions later on |

BTW - I had the same issue with my O2 extended bungs. I proceeded with the install without them. I have put about 400 miles on my car since install and no CEL

I had the same issue and I also had to unscrewed the extended 02 bung and install the 02 senors without it. More then 1200 miles with the ERZ HFC and one night at the Drag Strip still NO CEL!

Good to know if hasn't been an issue so far for anyone.
ERZ, you'll probably want to send out larger ones for the rest of your orders so people don't run into this. |

Are the o2 sensors open? If so will that affect anything?

Not sure what you mean about the O2 sensors exactly. They aren't hooked up in these pics but they plug in just like stock except the bungs are extended on the ERZ cats
