Fast Intentions exhaust
Has anyone installed the FI catback alone and thrown a code? I understand a tune is needed to get the most performance, but can this exhaust be installed and operated without the need for an immediate tune?

Mine didn’t & I had test pipes from them as well...drove nearly 1,000mi & got tune because I wanted the extra ponies :ugh2:

7A/T tuning in 4th gear (1.41:1) so lower #’s than stick shift Z. Tune felt very noticeable  |

If a CEL was triggered, I'd recommend scanning the code to confirm what it is related to. Is is possible that you have any exhaust leak or something else was damaged / removed during the installation process? - Kevin |

You won't need a tune. I ran mine on 2 different cars with over 120k miles total. You are good to go. Even with an intake, you are good to go but it would be better with a tune. Do Highflow cats or test pipes, you will need a tune for sure.

There is a small chance that test pipes can trigger a CEL. If it does, the only way to turn off the CEL is with ECU tuning. - Kevin |
