Help on HFC decision
I currently have the Motordyne shockwave exhaust and CAIs. This is my last bolt on before a tune. Doubt I'll go headers or amore unless I decide on SC / turbo down the road.
Option A: Fast Intentions resonated HFC ($640) + Resonated which is probably the sound I want out of my HFC. + Excellent reviews - 12/16 week delivery time - $200ish charge to install? I don't have the tools for this job and I'd have to get a tune separately Option B: AAM HFC ($450) + $200 bucks less at same quality based on reviews + There is an AAM dyno shop close by my house. + HFCs + tune + install for roughly $1400 - Might be too loud - 200 cell count After a month of looking around the web, these are the two I've narrowed it down to. Looking for any 2cents you might want to share. Thanks. |
FI because they care about quality, and resonated just sounds better.

FI all day long if you are looking to go forced induction you need to decide SC or turbo. Headers will make difference on going with a SC setup but if you are thinking turbo stop with the power mods as you don't need them with a turbo setup up. A sk me how I know...LMAO!

Is there a big diff between FI RHFC and ART Pipes?
|
Resonated test pipes.
1. It's not that loud 2. It will sound awesome 3. Much cheaper 4. Flames |

Out of all the HFC’s I tried over the years the longest lasting HFC’s I used were the AAM Competition 2.5” high flow catalytic converters I took them off at 120K+ miles and they still worked fine.
