GASKETS!? 3 Bolt Test Pipe Gasket
 

I’m going to be installing ART pipes and a CBE this Sunday and I ordered new gaskets that won’t be here in time. These are the 3 bolt gaskets between the exhaust manifold and test pipes.

Has anyone reused the stock metal ring gasket with success?

Can always use gasket maker and some high heat RTV. Both should be available at your local auto parts store.

I've tried re-using the gaskets without RTV and with it. Both blew out the seal and lead to exhaust leaks. The exhaust temp hitting the test pipe is really hot and those 3-bolt gaskets are known to have problems. I'd suggest just waiting until the new gaskets come in and then do the install job.

I've seen used exhaust gaskets last for a while but it's usually a very short while. If you need to use the car before the new gaskets come in, it's worth a try - but don't get your hopes up. Personally, I'd just wait for the new gaskets.
