These were up for sale a while ago. You should PM the owner and ask him about them and how they performed.

I wrapped my Z1 intakes. No difference in AIT during regular and highway driving. Haven't yet seen whether they help in a heat-soak situation.

You could always add a methanol kit if you wants to get the temp down in the intake lol |

One other side bene of intakes is that it's a billion x easier to get to the drivers side headlight adjustment screw in the event you've upgraded bulbs and need to tweak the beam height.

Since the filters are up behind the bumper, do they really get that much air flow? It seems the majority of the "forced" air comes in by the radiator, lower on the car. |

I have a set of filter boxes (with duct and resonator) that I started insulating before I sold my Z. I'm trying to clean out my garage and would love to see them disappear. Send me a big box with a pre-paid shipping label and they're yours. PM me if you want to discuss.

Seller of the aforementioned blinged out stick airboxes here. Was done purely out of having leftovers after helping a friend with the IC piping on his STI. Didn’t do a damn thing as plastic is already a decent insulator compared to aluminum, but at least it looked cool?
