No problem. I just wanted to share it because there was no indication that there were differences per the AEM web site/vendor information. Honestly I didn't really read every post on here.

I will be calling AEM tomorrow to see if they plan on releasing a fix for the wiper bottle relocation kit. If they don't, I may end up contacting Injen to see if I can purchase theirs separately.

Retail is about $475-500, pretty much in line with Injen and Stillen. I got mine through a vendor here and got it shipped directly from AEM.

So I drove about 150 miles this weekend after the intake install and here are my thoughts/impressions:

- I would actually prefer the design of the Stillen intakes and how they draw air through the middle of the bumper over the Injen/AEM intakes. The AEM/Injen intakes draw air through the sides of the bumper, where there is minimal air flow.

- In order to draw more air into these intakes (and maximize efficiency/potential power gains), the bumper undertray is in need of serious ducting. I plan on doing this myself in a few weeks once I order the right parts.

- I hear a slight banging under WOT. I did a long tube header install at the same time, but it's unlikely that the culprit could be these as fitment/flex was all verified on a lift. The only possible scenario I can think of is that the included brackets/rubber mounts do not allow for enough flex to accomodate the moving engine, or the intake piping is hitting a metal area of the radiator support during engine movement.

- Intake "growl" sounds awesome.

- Fuel economy has improved over my previous setup (just test pipes). Again, I don't know if this is due to the FI long tubes or the intake but I'm averaging about 20mpg compared to my previous of about 17.

But you have the Nismo right? I wonder if the 'bang' would exist with the normal Z's......

I'm planning on taking off the bumper again in about a week or so to do my oil cooler install so I'll check the fitment again. I'm pretty sure it would most likely exist with both versions IF everything is verifed as properly installed as the areas the intake routes through are exactly the same with the exception of the bumper undertray.

Ok so unfortunately I do not have any pictures because I forgot my camera but here are some notes:

1) The AEM relocated washer bottle will interfere with most oil cooler setups, unless you are running a 19-row or smaller.
2) Nismo owners will need to trim a portion of the metal ducting to fit.
3) The noise was coming from the pipes hitting the driver's side AC line. Unfortunately there is no way to prevent this from happening under high loads (WOT at lower RPMS, high RPM in general.
4) The driver's side intake sits higher than the passenger side one. The pipes themselves are angled differently near the bottom.

Weeeee maybe you can bend the line or bracket a little? If not how about some of that foam weather stripping with adhesive backing to cushion in between (if you can mount it where it's not visible/cheesy lookng).

Just finished installing before the show and the intakes came out great. I don't have the oem bumper I have the stillen bumper. The air filters are just at the side vents. The power is there. Great looking intakes. I like it so far.

Right now I'm really pissed about the oil cooler fitment issue. I was planning on installing the 25-row this weekend and it seems that I may have to figure out a different way to mount it. If AEM had relocated the bottle to the passenger side of the car this wouldn't be an issue. I'm contemplating doing it myself and just buying more hose to extend it.

And my goddamn washer fluid light keeps going off when my bottle is full.

I will take the bumper off yet again this week.
