I have asked about this as well with no answers.
It would really look nice with a polished finish, but more importantly im sure there would be a nice power gain.

I'm sure it'd look nice under that hood, but does it really give any gains?

Good question. Just because it came from a GTR...

i don't see an intake manifold really changing anything pertaining to whether the car is FI or NA.

the alluminum has increased durability under boost and raised IATs. constantly cycling from vacuum to pressure at over 100 degrees has been known to cause early failures in plastic manifolds. my thing is i might want to mount something to the top of that manifold and metal is the only way to go there. Personally i would rather use the stock manifold as you nevver know the runer design changes and the effect on the torque curve but the runners on the gtr manifold do look longer so it is possible i could see tourqe gains. i might even want to epoxy the runners to change the cross-sectional area and change the port design to match the port design of the VQlower manifold. another note worthy question would be do you think our manifolds due to the higher flow rating of the engine might be designed to where they could be used as a performance increase on an HR? just a thought they look nearly the same tho.

plenums and spacers worked very well on the vq35de ... Our plenum has yet to be challenged by any aftermarket plenum... If that fits i would imagine boost applications would see a great boost in HP.. not sure about NA tho

HEH? the reason that upper halfs and spacers worked well on the de was because the stock plenum was crap... they remedied that with twin throttlebodies. the only reason that the DE plenum is better for boost is because it is actually made out of metal and most of the friggen turbo kits on the market are only made for the single throttlebody cars, the new HR and VHR turbo'd cars make heeps of power more than the old DE's. Not to mention u guys had a connecting rod problem didn't u?

Either way NO WAY IN HELL IS A DE PLENUM GOING ON MY VHR

It's ok man, you can relax lol.. No one's going to force a DE Plenum on your car since it won't fit and will require reprogramming and lots of headache lol
