Dent in Exhaust

I just picked up a used FI catback exhaust and both resonators on either muffler have dents on the parts closest to the ground. One side is quite severe and the other is more minor. There does not seem to be any holes or leak points but the dents are quite noticeable when installed and gives the car a cheap look.

Does anyone know if it is possible for a muffler shop to fix something like this or am I out of luck? Unfortunately, I do not have pictures at the moment but will update this thread with them later.

Contact Kevin at Fast Intentions and order a new pair of what you need. I suspect that you might have to wait a bit, but you can run what you have until the new ones get in.

I am going to go that route as the last resort because I am sure whatever I pay for the new mufflers + what I paid for the used exhaust is going to end up being more than a whole new FI exhaust to begin with.

If anyone that knows metal or exhaust work wants to give me some hope, please feel free to chime in :eekdance:

I think the muffler shop can give you some advice.

If it is under the car don't worry so much about it. If you got new ones you could easily dent those too. Any junk in the road can dent them.
