Whats your favorite 370z Exhaust?
Whats your favorite 370z Exhaust?

Topspeed pro1 + test pipes on a specialty-z tune....best sounding exhaust so far, IMO. Deep burbly tone.

In most cases pipes are pipes. I run Fast Intentions high flow cats with topspeed catback exhaust with the mufflers cut out. Sounds awesome. Still tolerable for daily driving but roars as soon as you throttle it. |

FI LTH's, 12" resonators, cbe.

PT6266 turbo to custom downpipe, mates to FI X-pipe and mufflers.

A better title for this thread would of been "What exhaust do you have?", because that's the only replies you'll get.
|
One of my favorite exhaust combos on the Z is the Greddy Evolution GT exhaust and AAM Competition test pipes.
|
Currently running AAM resonated short tails w/AAM HFCs on stock Nismo midpide--it sounds awesome but is a bit too loud.
I've got the Nismo R-Tune catback on the way, so I'll have to wait and see what that sounds like. |

Currently running all Berks (CBE & HFC) and I get A LOT of compliments on the sound. Loud enough when you want it to be and then quiet on the highway and normal driving. Not quite stock quiet, and no drone at all...I get the "hiss" when downshifting, so it sounds exotic to me.

Tomei and or motordyne
|
I have the FI cbe + FI long tube headers, and that's very good. I do actually prefer the sound of the Motordyne on my wife's car, and I had a Motordyne + Art Pipe setup on my 350z.
Ark is also a very nice sounding exhaust. I'd still like to hear a meisterschaft and an armytrix in person. |
MCR Crimson Ti
or Amuse R1 Titan (9:34) But my Motordyne will have to do for now. (this was on pull 2/3. ended up doing 325 that day on old oil and dirty *** filters [on the final pull]. #notbad) |
Oh man that motordyne is amazing!

ARK grip- with Z1 HFC's

I like Fast Intentions. Whatever you get, stick with a quality product.

Once I upgraded to long tube headers, the drone got much worse (2200-2800 rpms), and I swapped in resonated 12" midpipes which tamed it back down again. With 18" resonated mid pipes, even with long tube headers I think the system would actually be too quiet for me. But a lot depends on your tolerance for that particular sound frequency. You can always put down dynamat if it's too loud. |
Like my FI carbon with 18in resonators and
Motordyne art pipes. Also like motordyne full cat back. |
