Hissing/Rattling noice after HFC
Hey guys been doing a ton of research on this noise ive been getting right after i installed my Berk High flow cats. Ive seen that multiple people have had this issue and have found different ways to make it better. Not FIX it. Sence these threads were from minimal 4 years prior to now i thought id post a thread incase anyone has found a solution. Very irratting after buying a brand new ark grip CBE and Berk HFC’s just for it to sound broken to the average joe. Any help or suggestions are greatly appericated! Thanks!

The hiss is common on these VQ37 engines, especially with HFC installed. You just gonna have to get used to it or put your catalytic converter back on.
|
Yup, part of it. You can get a resonated CBE like the FI and it will help, but :iagree:. You're pretty well going to have to deal or put the stock cats back on.
|
It's not fixable since that's what the motor sounds like. Either muffle it with a more restrictive exhaust option, or learn to love it.

When opting for HFC’s that is what our VQ37 engines sound like. I would learn to like it and turn your stereo up and listen to that instead or change to a different muffler.

Yep same problem here of course...you now know how much noise reduction stock cats provide...stock cats back on if u want the noise gone
