So I just heard that the 2015+ exhaust manifolds are different than previous years. Anyone seen this or have pics?

Why would they change them. The Z hasn't changed in 10 years. LOL

That’s what I thought too but someone was saying the 2015+ have a different design at the collector (more like the z1 with a 3-1 with individual ports). Not sure if they are mistaken.

Just letting who might be searching for this in the future; the 2015s do have a better exhaust manifold design. They actually don’t bolt up to the older engines because the studs are in a different location (the older heads don’t have 4 stud spots)
The pipes flow smoother and it’s more than likely that this causes the newer cars to dyno slightly higher.

Any 370z OEM exhaust manifold improvement should have included a turbo.

The good thing about the 2015 and newer cars is that they are also compatible with the older headers, just have to move the studs around. Unfortunately the older ones don’t have the heads drilled in all 4 possible spots. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So the newer heads have both sets of holes already drilled and tapped then.

So it sounds like the heads have an addition stud? So in theory one could mount the new ones and use the flange as a template to drill and tap their own holes and add studs?
