Intake Temps
Hey guys. I got an 09' 370 6MT touring I bought new with a Motordyne catback and AEM ETI "cold air" intake. Ever since the intake install I keep getting PO127 High Intake Air Temp. Car hasn't given me a single issue the past 9 years I've had her until last Christmas when I installed the intake. Anyone else encounter this with the AEM setup and how did you fix it?

Sounds like a sensor or wiring problem to me.

I'm thinking it's built into the one on R/H side,,,but don't hold me to it. As ait's above 140* will pull timing & reduce power.

Sounds like a sensor problem to me. I know a few people that have the AEM cold air intake and you are the first person I ever heard of getting a cel with the AEM cold air intake. A good way to tell would be to reinstall your stock OEM Nissan intake and try resetting the cel and see if it go’s away it’s an idea anyway.

Thanks for the replies. I have checked my MAF connections and everything seems good and tight. I have a feeling it may have to do with the fact the the RH MAF is right next to the power steering lines and it's absorbing excessive heat but that's just a guess. I think I will put my OEM intake back in, clear the code and see if it returns. I don't daily drive it and she only has 48k so I don't think it's a bad part but I got to finish putting my bike back together first as it basically has consumed my whole garage and I like to finish 1 project at a time.
