Yeah -- bumper removal is ridiculously easy. The people that complain about it must lack the basic ability to operate a screw driver.

The Injens we are talking about are the long-tube ones that move the filters to the fender wells.

I'm not here to knock any product. I will do a search for the splash sheilds the are used for the long tube. Just one thing, if those were for the short ram why would they need splash gaurds, there in the engine bay and not hanging down exposed to the elements like the long tube, just a thought. I would also like to add that I'm not here to make things up, trust me they sell them. I'm not trying to be a d!ck.

Not saying you are making things up, but no one here has had any issues with either thing you are talking about. Needing splash guards or front bumper issues. I might see how with the injens so low you might need something, but you would need to be driving through standing water. Also, the bumper is meant to be removed, do you think Nissan would design it not to be? It is listed in the manual on how to do it, maybe when the person who is having issues removed it they bent something, who knows.

read the description and then go to applications page and scroll down, you will find the 2009-10/ 370 Z listed. Like I said I don't know if there needed, but I would think that there must be a chance if they sell something to prevent it. Trust me I have seen them in plastic also. Hey who am I to say whats needed its just something I read. No harm no foul right. I hope I didnt offend you in any way. |

I can tell you, though, that with the LT intakes they are unnecessary. The filters are housed in sealed compartments on either side of the front grille. The only way water would ever get in there is if you drove through a few feet of water.
