The update is that for all the excitement and 15 pages of comments that these LTHs have generated thus far -- not to mention all the comments pushing Tony for progress updates in the previous thread -- a mere five people have signed up to actually buy.
![]() I'll tell you guys this much. If I were thinking of developing products for the 370Z, what has happened here would cause me to think twice in terms of trying to figure out how much genuine demand there is for new products. If we, as a community, give vendors a false and inflated sense of demand by clamoring for a product but then not buying when it's time to put our money where our mouths are, we will only succeed in shooting ourselves in our collective foot. Just sayin'

Myself, I don't want a RICE car, I want a good sounding performance exhaust. It'll also depend on how loud they are - that's hard to judge by claim from the manufacturer - a consensus needs to be built. Thankfully there are a few people that will jump on it and take the first plunge. They can report back on the difficulty of install, how much it cost them to have them install if they didn't DIY, maybe even write up a DIY article....and report back sound level changes, even post vids. Anyhow...I know it wasn't a snub. For me, and I imagine most people, gains aren't the only thing that drives sales. |

![]() ![]() I just went crazy with my intake/exhaust for the end of the year, having to hold myself back and will probably buy around the time I get my tax refund in. Though with an ETA of February it might just be the exact same time, may as well just throw down 400 now...damn it Semtex, making now want to just throw my name on the list.

Tony , I have the FI cbe with 18'' res and carbon and really like the looks quality and sound (except the 2000-2300 drone) and am interested in the headers ,
1) How do you get the manifold sensors to reach ? 2) What is the reason for long tubes before going into one ? 3) I really am interest to know if the sound is louder , and if the design is better or worse in the drone department ? I now have stillen headers and berk cats , and am looking for everything I can get out of the NA motor . The things I am looking for are power , light weight , quality , and sound . I look for your response and want to thank you again for a great cbe system and great service , I have had several say they were getting one from you after seeing and riding in my car. |

1) You will have to extend your front O2 sensors. I will supply detailed instructions with the headers that everyone will need to adhere to! I will also supply all of the wire pre cut to the specific length along with heat shrink tubing. Eventually, we plan to make plug and play adapters but getting the plugs are not easy. 2) I am assuming that you are referring to the collector at the bottom! That is what gives you all of your torque. If you were to just dump the four tube into a piece of 2.5" tubing the header would not perform correctly. You would create alot of turbulence at the merging point of the four tubes. The reason we chose to make a long tube, is due to the fact that we feel there is not much improvement to be had with a shorty header over the stock manifold. Nissan did a very good job designing the stock exhaust manifolds and it looks very close to the design of a header in itself. 3) The sound has become louder outside of the car and quieter inside the car. Reason being, the tone is not as deep and Bass. Do not get me wrong, it still sounds great. Just slightly higher pitched and even more exotic. Given what your overall goals are, we can help you achieve them. You along with Semtex have Stillen shorty headers and Berk HFC's. He has dyno charts that prove once the Stillen headers went on, he lost torque and picked up very little power in an un usable RPM range. Meaning he only picked up power at THE VERY TOP end. I am pleased that you are happy with our cat back and anything you need in the future, please do not hesitate to ask... Thank you, Tony
