The LTH would only give about another 6 hp if you already have the CBE and HFCs if Im reading everything right. And if you have the test pipes you are only getting about 3 more hp. Now are the SCs that are coming out going to be able to fit to these?

My thought is that the SC's that come out, maybe they will, maybe they won't - either way I'll probably go this direction first...until I can find out with reasonable certainty, at what RWHP the 7AT pops...

LTH's, Catback, G3...those aren't too terribly higher HP/Torque. If I read it correctly, that's only 20ftlb more torque between stock and full exhaust (I say only from the transmission standpoint, 30-RWHP/20-FTLB is nothing to laugh at)

Daishi #003, thank you...

Don't neglect the torque gains though. I mean, if you think about it, what Tony and his team have accomplished is quite remarkable. Compared to a setup with stock manifolds and HFCs, they're reducing backpressure. Usually, when you reduce backpressure, you lose some low-end torque as a tradeoff for gains higher up the rpm range. If you're lucky, you don't lose much or maybe even none at all. These guys managed to GAIN low-end torque! For me, it's a no-brainer to toss the Stillen headers I already have and switch over to these, because I lost torque with the Stillens. That, and they don't even line things up with their own CBE right. Stillen headers = FAIL as far as I'm concerned.

No, if you look at the curve in some places we picked up over 12 and the same for torque. Peak was about 8 but the curve is much more important than peak power. Look at the consistency, look at how much sooner and higher the power and torque come on. This is achieved because of the headers. Believe me you can feel it driving. At the end of the day that is very important as well.

The RTP's made decent power and we saw a spike of 310 RWH SAE at the top but overall through the curve, they were very close to the HFC's. No doubt the Headers will out perform the RTP's and with a tune and CAI even more. In a supercharged application it is not even comparable. The headers will decimate all!

Is it just me or did the OP originally say once the dies came to mandrel bend most the tubes the price would be a few hundred cheaper but that would take about 10weeks? I went back and tried to find it but couldn't. Am I trippin?

Will the discount still apply then?

Also, how much for ceramic-coated?

That's what I thought too, but that's also why I posted the question!

We were originally going to sell the headers for $1,300-$1,400 if we were going to have to build them in many pieces. But, we want to get them out there for a reasonable price that is affordable. So we feel $995 is a great intro price and for previous customers $895.00 is even better.

Shouldn't have picked up those test pipes from you last week. Didn't know these were coming out. Ha may have to sell the pipes and get the lth in feb.

vipor 12-18-2009 05:47 PM

just get the lth, throw away the pipes lol.
