It's all good mate, ask Tony how long I been nagging on him to make some headers for us ;)

I'm sure you're going back to Forged after the install to get a retune right? looking forward to seeing your numbers

Maybe. I need to consult with Sharif on whether or not it'll be necessary. Dirty little secret for you -- Uprev's software for the 370Z isn't capable of advancing timing yet. Like you make the adjustments in the software, but they don't go anywhere. My understanding is that Uprev is still working on cracking that piece. Until they do, it seems like a waste of money to re-tune. Might as well wait for them to crack it, then do the re-tune. The only thing that's really adjustable right now is AFR, and I'm not sure how much my AFR will change just from going to LTHs when I already have the Stillen headers + Berk HFCs, ya know? But that's what I need to consult with Sharif on.

Thanks for letting me in that secret haha.. I'm guessing waiting would be your best bet then.. It's more of a matter of wanting a tune rather than needing one. I know for a fact the LT Headers will flow much better than the HFC + Short Tubes combo

Just moving from HFC to straight pipes actually with a tune would yield some nice numbers.. so imagine that doing headers!

I'm with you on waiting till they fix the timing though

That is why I am doing all my performance bolt ons currently, hoping by summer 2010 Uprev will have finished 100% of their tuning software and I can enjoy it. :D

Tony, if your only a man short to wrapping up this deal then count me in. If I go the Turbo route I'll just sell them for cheap like everything else :)

Just keep me in mind if you need one more to jump in. You know how to get hold of me.

As always, thanks bro! Keep up the great work!

What to see some video's, then I'm most likely IN!

Sam, removing any cat will yield better numbers because there is less restriction.

2) What is the reason for long tubes before going into one ?
3) I really am interest to know if the sound is louder , and if the design is better or worse in the drone department ?
I now have stillen headers and berk cats , and am looking for everything I can get out of the NA motor . The things I am looking for are power , light weight , quality , and sound .
I look for your response and want to thank you again for a great cbe system and great service , I have had several say they were getting one from you after seeing and riding in my car.

David,

1) You will have to extend your front O2 sensors. I will supply detailed instructions with the headers that everyone will need to adhere to! I will also supply all of the wire pre cut to the specific length along with heat shrink tubing. Eventually, we plan to make plug and play adapters but getting the plugs are not easy.

2) I am assuming that you are referring to the collector at the bottom! That is what gives you all of your torque. If you were to just dump the four tube into a piece of 2.5" tubing the header would not perform correctly. You would create alot of turbulence at the merging point of the four tubes. The reason we chose to make a long tube, is due to the fact that we feel there is not much improvement to be had with a shorty header over the stock manifold. Nissan did a very good job designing the stock exhaust manifolds and it looks very close to the design of a header in itself.

3) The sound has become louder outside of the car and quieter inside the car. Reason being, the tone is not as deep and Bass. Do not get me wrong, it still sounds great. Just slightly higher pitched and even more exotic.

Given what your overall goals are, we can help you achieve them. You along with Semtex have Stillen shorty headers and Berk HFC's. He has dyno charts that prove once the Stillen headers went on, he lost torque and picked up very little power in an un usable RPM range. Meaning he only picked up power at THE VERY TOP end. I am pleased that you are happy with our cat back and anything you need in the future, please do not hesitate to ask...

Thank you, Tony

My Stillen shorty headers will make good doorstops. Or maybe I'll weld them onto my riding mower. I've been wanting to rice that thing out for a while now. Just for amusement.

Thank you, Tony

This is awesome news Tony. It's probably the thing i like most about the RTP's is when you get into it, is that exotic sound it makes:tup:. If what your saying is that it would become quiter "In Cabin" then that's a bonus in my mind. A bit louder outside is ok for me for where i live and work.

If you can just let me know where i need to take photo's for you as to whether you can work with our cars would be great.

Am I the only one that read that as:
