The smaller ones do, but your larger counties (or the ones with major cities) share very similar tests to help control pollution.

Once i'm all settled in, I might go with the long tubes, and delete the mufflers just to be a prick, haha

Figured you would nail it Tony...you're still the man

Don't know, never tried it. I assume no incredibly louder than the 12" resonators. Probably not as smooth though.

G37Sam 12-30-2009 06:17 PM

Guess I'll have to find out eh?

Another Q's: When's the G37 coming in for test fitting and how's that sexy mandrel coming along from Italy?

Possibly sometime late next week or early the following for the test fit on the G37. As far as the tooling, your guess is as good as mine. I can tell you that it is on order and in about 3-4 weeks I will call them and get an update...

Thanks, Tony

So since this is actually a group buy, I have decided to cap this specific price of $995/$895 at a quantity of 20. These prices are very aggressive and cannot stay that way. Currently there are 10 sets on order, so that leaves 10 spots left open.

Once we hit the 20th the group buy will be CLOSED! 21 and up will be at the following prices:

Purchase of just the headers: $1,250
Purchase of our cat back exhaust and our headers: $1,150
If you already own our exhaust and want to purchase our headers: $1,150

Again, there is no time limit on this group buy, just a number limit. If anyone has any questions, or would like to place an order please do not hesitate to contact me directly...

Thank you, Tony

sooooooooo, im confused just for the headers is $1150, but for the exhaust and headers $1150, is that right tony? if it is $1150 for the headers and exhaust count me in!!!!!! haha

Lol oh you'd wish that was right..

Headers are for 1250, if you bought the catback from Tony before or are willing to purchase now, you get a $100 discount that's all.

The catback has it's own price.

If Tony sold the combo for $1150 I don't think he'd stay in business much longer lol.

if he did i'd have headers and exhaust completely paid for right now. it'd be justifiable for sure, and stupid to miss.

Kastley85891 12-31-2009 11:46 AM

The combo would be as common as SG3 intakes lol

m4a1mustang 12-31-2009 11:51 AM

Well I think you guys are still getting a great deal.

You are getting proven performance, ultra high quality, and unmatched customer service that's very competitively priced.

kannibul 12-31-2009 12:16 PM

I'm curious what it'll (F.I. Exhaust system) do with the G3 intake.

Exactly, the wait can be long, but you can never get all three things at once.

kannibul 12-31-2009 12:21 PM

Usually it breaks down to the following:

1) Price
2) Performance
3) Quality

Choose any 2.

Not with F.I. - they do all 3, *and* great C/S...

MightyBobo 12-31-2009 12:28 PM

Actually, the old saying goes:

1) Fast
2) Reliable
3) Cheap

Choose 2 :). Ive seen plenty of instances of cheap, high quality items emerge - and I hate to say it, the JDM crap is the perfect example of a ridiculous price/performance ratio. PLENTY of great US manufacturers making high-quality items right now! Are they made of titanium? Nope, but they sure sound good, and put down great numbers.

Oh I was talking business:
~Quality
~Time
~Price

You can never do all three, you will sacrifice one for another, but if quality & cost are there most, people will ignore time.

genki370z 12-31-2009 07:37 PM

Saw this today Tony and remembered your thread haha

http://img684.imageshack.us/img684/8...0120101189.jpg

Saw it in the Dubai's Ferrari Store, those were used in their 3.0L V10 engines back in 2001 or so.. Had Schumacher's signature & certificate on it too haha if you guys saw the price on that thing you honestly wouldn't be complaining on the price of FI headers hahaha

semtex 01-02-2010 11:23 AM

Tony -- installation question for you. Does the engine need to be lifted out in order to install these? My mechanic said he seems to recall that when he installed my Stillen headers, the cats had to be out of the way in order for him to reach the bolts. With LTHs, that's obviously not an option. I mean, there are no cats, but the pipe extends through to where the cats would have been, and you can't just move them out of the way. Hence my question. I'm hoping my mechanic just remembers wrong. It's been about six months since he put my headers in, after all.

Interesting question. When I talked to Tony on the phone he mentioned installation was easy just time consuming and that I could do it myself if I wanted.

That is what he said to me, also from a few people I have talked to it seems very few cars need extensive work to add headers just time.

How's that off a V10 - all the ports are on one side?

LateralG'z 01-02-2010 01:26 PM

When are these going to be available? I checked the website and there was nothing on them. is there a link to these on their page? thanks

You can add your name to the list, but current ETA is very end of March or beginning of April. He is waiting on a piece of equipment which will allow him to bend the pipes as one single piece instead of having to weld them from a bunch of small pieces.

HA! Yeah I'm sure. But believe me, I have my fair share of senior moments. They usually happen when my wife asks me if I remembered to do something she assigned to me. ;)

There are two ports in each header pipe due to the 2 exhaust valves per cylinder I believe :tiphat:

1slow370 01-02-2010 06:21 PM

i think it's been asked before but is there a stillen header exchange program for these? i haven't installed them yet... i have until spring ish to decide as i can't touch the car til then. i wan't to see the one piece beds first.love the turbulence cone those handmade or do u buy them from one of the companies that sells them for cheap?
