Are you kidding? There is lots of room once you remove the air intakes and strut bar. Don't think it will be easy; but it's do-able and it will be easier with two people; one under the Z and one over the engine bay.
I figure about 6 hours work with lots of Timmie coffee breaks and afternoon venison BBQ ![]() disclaimer: I have the proper tools, lift and experience

Myself...
Probably do not have proper tools (I have a 300+ piece toolkit from Sears, but no specialty tools), no lift, and I've never done headers before. But it's not rocket science. |

i was saying the 370z is a piece of cake to work on compared to my twin turbo 300zx. working on a ZX is all by feel. one rarely sees the bolts one is trying to get at. once you get rid of the octopus sitting on top of the engine it's a little easier. |

Wow those tubes look nice, good work on designing those! Im really debating on putting down for these considering the smaller gains that other aftermarket headers i've seen put out. Any idea if Berk HFCs and a Berk CBE would be compatible with this?

resonated test pipes and CBE would come close and a little less $$$. But they say the TQ curve will be greater with the LTHs than test pipes.

I've been talking to Tony about these for a while, feel a little compelled to step up and join in on the group buy but I REALLY WANT turbos. No point in doing these if I'm doing a turbo kit in the next 6 months or so.
Tony, no hard feelings my man, I'm holding out for either an SC or TT kit as you know. If no one comes up for a somewhat affordable option then I'll go for the headers (I'll pay you for the install though...F That)

I may take you up on that offer. I don't know if I can afford that TT kit anyway with times being so tough. If the SC kit comes on I suppose these headers would only compliment them.
I need to rob a bank!!! Bought this car to keep my spending down and you guys are NOT helping!! HAHAHAHAH

I guess, having a 7AT has been a good thing, as I'm nervous about what would happen to the tranny with too much power...I hope that eventually a kit will come out to improve the 7AT even further, but until then, this is probably the last power-performance mod I'll do...if I do it.
Again, it'll totally depend on how much of a PITA it will be. I'm sure it'll be the most difficult thing I've done yet...and I'm sure there's not a shop around that would do it for me. Certainly not the dealership...they told me flat out they won't even put HFC's on a car...CBE, sure, but nothing more. For me, it'll come down to Sound + Gains > PITA + Cost. Same with a S/C... |
