Default Question About Midpipe Flow

My current exhaust set up is Motordyne ART pipes and non res AAM short tails. The rest of the exhaust is stock. It sounds choked up to me. I'm looking at what to get to free up the flow a bit.

I'm deciding between AAM's S Line mid pipe and Motordyne's XYZ pipe.
My Question is if I go with the Motordyne XYZ am I still going to have a lot of this choking sound due to it not replacing the full mid pipe opposed to the AAM?
