The car sounds like a new Mustang 5.0 Coyote motor with a high flow exhaust and cat deletes, but it's not ricey at all. It sounds very throaty and mean. (Emphasis on VERY aggressive and mean). When paired in this combination you wont hear the hiss that everyone talks about once you let off of the gas. That sound is replaced with gurgles and subtle pops. The exhaust definitely overpowers the hissing that the Art pipes are known for. That hissing sound is "almost" non-existent.

When you downshift with the rev matching, the sound is absolutely amazing, and it gets EVERYONES attention. The car sounds like it should be on a track. If you're looking to unlock the exotic sound of this engine, this setup will get the job done. It also sounds like the car has aftermarket cams in it. Absolutely amazing!

OK, so those are the pros of this combo, let me discuss the cons for a moment. To start with, the cold start is VERY LOUD.
I love to hear all of it!

I have a pair of ART pipes that I have been waiting to install to pair with my MD Shockwave exhaust. I can’t wait to hear how aggressive the tone is!

Wow! You're going to LOVE the sound if you want it on the loud or throaty side. I've been contemplating the MD exhaust or the FI exhaust, but I need some civility to it. The Art pies will not disappoint you regardless of your exhaust set up. They make more Horse Power and Torque throughout the power curve, and they're quieter than a set of RHFC. You're going to love whatever you end up with. I understand that MD exhaust are specifically tuned to work with the Art pipes which should eliminate ALL of the drone and metallic noise. That means no ANGRY plastic rattling inside of the car.

Let me know once you get them installed, I'd love to hear the combination before I make my exhaust decision.

Wow, that thing sounds pretty nasty. Reminds me of what mine sounded like before I removed the axle backs and went back to the Nismo exhaust. Definitely going to wake up the neighbors with that lol. Sounds VERY mean!
