AAM S-Line Short Tails Resonated VS non-Resonated

Has any one had the resonated short tails on their Z yet? if so on a scale of 1 to 10 about how much louder is the non resonated vs

Default AAM S-Line Short Tails Resonated VS non-Resonated

Has any one had the resonated short tails on their Z yet? if so on a scale of 1 to 10 about how much louder is the non resonated vs the resonated short tails?

Iv been thinking about getting the short tails and im trying to get an idea of what im in for as far as volume. im currently running ART pipes with the stock Nismo cat back.

I've had both and it's still loud either way, the only difference is that with the Resonated Short tails is the sound will sound slightly deeper and it will Reduce some of the rasp as well from what I've experienced.

ART pipes (or any cat replacement) paired up with short-tails will be very loud. I'd say get a full proper cat-back to go along with the ART pipes.

To give a little comparison, here's a video I made with sound clips of a fully stock OEM exhaust system, then with non-res test pipes, and then the non-res test pipes and non-res short tails.

I should tell you that it's much louder in person than what's captured with a camera microphone :rolf2:
