Default Motordyne M370 Plenum Questions

Goin on!?

So, I came across one of these for sale locally and had to pick my jaw up off the floor. (Yea...one of these and a set of Swifts, which were already sold. I was expecting to see intakes and wheels and whatnot but instead found these. I was SUPER surprised...)

I have a few questions, though:

- Is it worth it? Is it a worthwhile mod? I've read TONS of yes posts, TONS of no posts...seems like a big "meh" for the money...

- Ok...same question as above, but this time, instead of the 650 bucks it goes for new, the one I found is used and it's going for 450...worth it now?

- Isn't really the way I wanted to start, but hey...opportunities are taken, not given, right?...this would be the first mod on my car. Well...I'd probably do the intake stuff I want to do at the same time (tubes and drop-ins), but still...everything I've seen about this thing was in regards to tuning. Will this thing do ANYTHING without a tune?

- Can the stock engine cover be attached to this thing? Not a big deal...just curious. I'd like to keep it stock looking for now. I have...like...93 THOUSAND miles left on my "used car" warranty so, until it's time to go HAM, I'd like to keep what I do as hush hush as possible...

Thanks, everyone!

You will get better gains with Catback and cats (high flow cats or test pipes).

From my research on the matter, it will make better low and mid end power, while not sure about top end power as it got some mixed results as far as my search.

People who have it would be more helpful

just my 2 cents.
