2015 Nismo, looking for new exhaust recommendations

If you like the tomei then you should check out the soho single exit, it's a bit more affordable and the fit and finish is great. Sound is great too.

Correct! I would like to consider the exhaust notes as well. But IMO these loud exhausts have awesome notes as well!

Loud + Great exhaust notes = awesome every time the gas is pressed

Just remember that a very loud exhaust also brings much unwanted attention from the Police and the moody neighbours.

Default 100% agree

I made the mistake of upgrading my Genesis Coupe with long-tube headers, thinking louder would be better. First couple of days driving it, I regretted it. It was so loud, you knew everyone could hear you go by in subdivisions from inside their homes or apartments. I didn't want to be "that guy" that everyone was annoyed by in the neighborhood.

I really like the tone the 370Z Nismo has, stock. Nice sound under acceleration but real quiet when coasting along. When you're on the highway on a long road trip, you really want quiet at cruising speed -- not a loud, constant drone of an exhaust. It will go from sounding cool to giving you fatigue and wanting to get out and take a break from driving.

Hey guys,

As an update...

I think i'm going to get the Meisterschaft full exhaust system (Mid-Pipe + Y Pipe + Short tails).

My next delimma is whether to go Test Pipes, Art Pipes, or HFCs...

I'm leaning towards the HFCs however maybe I should test how loud it is with the stock cats first?

I'm new to exhausts and not an expert in this area... but your opinion is much appreciated.

Hi guys
I'm rebooting this topic because I have also a 2015 Nismo (2016 in fact )

I have to keep sound under or regal to 100dB and due to pollution control I keep my OEM cat. So I want a titanium exhaust for weight saving and a better exhaust note.

I'm almost decided about the following step :
Amuse R1 Y pipe (resonated model : -6dB)
Amuse R1000 exhaust

My concern is Bulletproof told me it doesn't fit on my Nismo.
Can someone confirm this information ?
Someone on the forum already install it on a >2015 Nismo ?

I also have a 2015 and took ages for me to pick an exhaust. I went with the AAM resonated short pipes and highflow cats. May change those to test pipes for some extra noise as I dont have to smog where shes registered. The NISMO already has an H-pipe so its already a true dual, so swapping this isnt a priority for me quite yet.

Personally, I have yet to find an exhaust note that I love as much as the AAM resonated short tails.

Best of luck!

Agreed the AAM Competition resonated short tail exhaust with test pipes is one of the best sounding exhausts on the Z I have ever heard.
