Default 370z rattle tp's plus catback exhaust

Hello I recently bought test pipes ($100) and aam short tail exhaust for my setup. It was suuuper loud but sounded amazing. I then purchased an invidia Gemini catback and deleted the resonators. Around 2k-2.8k there's a horrible rattle that sounds disgusting, when the car gets warm it kind of goes away but is still there. I read that you have to get motordyne ark pipes and the rattle won't be there but they are very pricey, plus the whole resonates test pipes option but I love loud. Any suggestions/help

Off topic, but do you still have the short tails, and will you sell?

I just installed AAM's resonated short tails and, yeah, the entire car buzzes at certain RPMs.

It was really bad until I pulled the muffler heat shield off the bottom of the trunk pan... It's a super thin bit of sheet tin about two foot square held on by four nuts, and pretty much exists to rattle.

I also had to put a thin bit of closed-cell foam behind the rear license plate... It's about an eighth-inch thick, and I just cut it to the shape of the plate, rtv'd it to the plate, and bolted it all down.

After that all I have is the whole-car buzz at around 3-3.5k rpm. By this I mean even the headliner buzzes...

Part of the loud exhaust issue is there is zero sound deadening in the car, if anything rattles, you'll hear it. And the short tail exhaust has some outrageous harmonics to cause rattles with.

yah, exhaust rattles are usually from heatshields.

Also if you have time crawl under the car and check exhaust clearance against the brace. I found some hfc/test pipes angle down slightly different from oem which in turn changes the alignment of the subsequent mid pipe.

This was the issue that I had. The rattle occurred on cold start and went away as the car got warmer. I had to reset and tighten my mid pipe a bit.
