General Question on this Intake // Brand? Miles?

Wanting to know what kind of intake the one below is, and roughly how many miles?

This guy says roughly 6k miles on it and doesn't know the brand.

I was hoping to buy it but not sure

Are you referencing a specific thread?

No one has any idea what you are referring to without a link or picture, but I generally wouldn't buy something from a seller that doesn't know the details of the product he's selling.

Sorry guys swear I uploaded this, guess it didn't. I was going to buy this Intake ($100) + my oem cold air intake.

Says this Intake has 6k miles and added 10hp (not too good)

Don't do it. The exposed filters will just heat soak and you will lose power. Save up for the Stillen G3 if your set on getting a intake.

I am thinking about k&n so I don't have to drop so much on g3s.

Aqhaat would you say about these intakes?

RanRich 02-24-2017 01:21 PM

Don't buy those. They're Ebay cheapie intakes that you could easily pick up new for around that price and still keep your factory ones.

Short rams will not give you better performance, only more intake noise (which is totally awesome by the way) and a cooler looking engine bay.

If you want gains, get high flow cats or test pipes.

You get what you pay for! Go for a Stillen or Z1 CAI. DO NOT buy this cheap set up. Your stock intake is better than this.
