Default Oil Burning Smell?

Hello everyone

about a month ago i noticed that i could smell what i thought was burning oil. before i could smell fumes from my ART Pipes but now that smell has been overcome with oil smell instead. i probably have about 450 miles on the ART pipes now so im not sure if that would be consider broken in or not and im just now smelling the exhaust instead of dirt and machining oil. I was running Mobil 1 synthetic but i decided to switch to royal purple instead and the smell also started shortly after i switched. Just to throw it out there its a 2011 Nismo with around 42k miles on the clock.

Suggestions or ideas?

Get it on a lift and look for black marks and greasy streaks. Since you haven't mentioned it, I'm assuming no puddles under the car.
If you can, park on spread out newspaper and look for drops on the paper. It can give you an idea where to start looking.

If you can do another oil change using your original oil and see if symptoms go away.

Break in for my exhaust was about 100km for it to die down and about 1000km for it to totally be gone. Your pipes should be broken in now. (There was a plastic kinda poly smell in the cabin)
