The way the intakes are made, it drips water from above down onto them. i've had the same issue in heavy rain

I had a cold air intake right at the bottom from Under bumper area on my eclipse and I used a Air filter waterproof "sock" and it worked wonders, Never had an issue swalling water and I went through pretty big puddles, mind you I still slowed down etc when going through puddles, but Rain, bring it on I never had an issue, even in intense rain storms etc and I was driving it in Winter too, with all the icing rain etc you can bring.

Have been caught in heavy thunder storms a few times and never had an issue with my Injens. Been on my ride since 2010.

If I'm driving for about 10 minutes, then nothing happens. |

Injen intakes vs Rain

It hardly rain in SoCal but this still unacceptable so I switched to G3. All fender liners and under shroud were perfectly installed.

Do you still have your plastic fender panels that protect it from waterpuddles or rain? If your car is lowered you be in danger when driving to even ankle deep floods. Water in your engine spells disaster.

I believe I do, not 100% sure. I did have my splash shield on but it didn't do any good so I took it off. And luckily it isn't lowered, but I've been wanting to lower it but can't due to this reason
