Z1 ported intake, worth it??

Isn't it necessary to piece the intake manifold with the lower portion too, to see any real gains? I thought there is a second, lower manifold component available from Z1

Isn't it necessary to piece the intake manifold with the lower portion too, to see any real gains? I thought there is a second, lower manifold component available from Z1 to pair with their manifold. Sold separately, but really, should be together from what I gather.
