Berk HFC Service Engine Light

Hey all,
So i'm trying to get my car to pass emissions, and every time the computer does it's self tests it passes everything but the O2 System. I have had this car for a year now, and have not changed anything on it in the exhaust system, so i'm curious as to why it is now failing. I have the BERK hfk's and I know that they can fail the inspection, but it didn't fail last year when I purchased the car. Do you guys have any idea on what I should do to get this system to pass? I don't have a sniffer test, all I need is for the self-test to pass so the system goes into a "ready" state... Will steel wool work?

I was told by the dealership that I will need a catalytic converter soon. I was thinking about installing Berk HFC's, from what I understood, they will pass state inspections outside California. Were your HFC's on the car when you purchased it and eventually passed the first time? If so, maybe a defouler would work.

Get an OBD scan tool. Check for any DTCs. See what your O2 sensors are doing.
