Who has an HKS intake kit?

Why do the want almost double for there kit compared to everyone else? I want all HKS stuff but they don't make much for our cars.

Brand name
Sometimes they deliver on quality fit
They look cool

And that's it. No heat shields subjects them to suffering heat soak like any other short-ram intake. The gains would probably come most from the filters themselves since they're bad at...filtering.

Its not even a true cold air system, they still sit in the engine bay.

I do beleive if you search throuh the forums you will note that many Z owners went with either the Takeda, Stillen or Z1 CAI. The K&N set up may be a bit too restrictive.
