Stillen Gen 3 Intake Fitment?
 

Hey guys so recently a friend and I installed these CAI's but the fitment at the end feels like it could've been a bit better IMO.

When Installing the bottom end (filter, etc.) we realized that two bolts were sticking out from the brace on both sides and rubbing (slightly pushing) against both filters towards the top. We figured that it shouldn't be a problem and went on with putting everything back together and came to the conclusion that it was just a real tight fit.

Has anyone had this issue with fitment, is anything just off or is that something that just seems to happen with these intakes?

Looking at it closely the driver side seemed to also sit slightly higher than the passenger side... But just slightly, maybe a half inch.

I'll be posting pictures of the bolts rubbing up against the filters and final fitment as soon as my schedule clears up... In the meantime, any input helps.

If i can recall, i had a problem with that too.. i think it was the horn?

We first bolted the horn.. tried to bolt it elsewhere.. couldnt find anywhere.. then we just bent the bracket holding the horn.
