Strange hiss on acceleration with HFC
 

Hello,

I have Nismo CBE. I installed HFC yesterday. Now with HFC I hear strange hiss. Only on full throttle acceleration. Hiss is mostly coming from back of my car. Is this normal? There is almost no rasp at any time or hiss on deacceleration.

With stock cats everything was normal.

Perfectly normal and no need to be concerned.

The stock cats hold back exhaust noise thats normal for the VQ engine.

By using HFCS's or Test Pipes it magnifies the hiss which is noticeable mostly on deceleration though.

I thought that rasp with hfc exist only at mid range rpm and hiss on deacceleration. I hear hiss ( or slight rasp Im not sure ) only on hard full throttle acceleration. Strange.
