Oem exhaust and hfc
 

Is anyone running this combo and do you have sound clips. I am slowly getting tired of the prius sound but don't want anything too loud for my old ears.:driving:

What cat?, most combinations of exhaust/HFC are on youtube and finding one with OEM exhausts and assuming you have a specific HFC in mind will probably be on there as well

HFC's don't sound good on the stock exhaust. More raspy and loud without any change in tone. If you're scared of getting something too loud but want a better sound here are some good options:

Invidia
Berk
Ark Grip or DTS
Top Speed Pro 1

Id have to disagree with RanRich unless he personally ran a HFC with stock exhaust. I ran my Berk HFC with my stock exhaust while waiting for my FI intentions and it sounds good. Rasp is extremely minimal even with Stillen G3 intakes. It just sounds like a more throaty sound of the current stock exhaust but Only more recognizable above 3k in my opinion.

Taking off the stock cat extremely difficult as you will learn especially if you do it yourself.
