Ready for new exhaust - advice?
Hi 370z brothers and sisters,
Today, I reached the boiling point of my disdain for how anemic the stock 370z exhaust sounds, and I'm ready to change it out. What I want: A sound that will turn heads and make people smile because it sounds good. What I don't want: A sound that will turn heads and think "what a wanker" because it's too loud.Is this possible? If so, suggestions? Thank you in advance! |
Many people here have the FI exhaust which is excellent in sound and quality. The second most popular one is the ARK Grip Exhaust which in my personal opinion sounds glorious and very high quality.

An economical suggestion if you're looking for better sound but ok with less gains, would be an axle back such as Beluga or J2. I'm running a Beluga axle back on my Nismo and love the low exhaust note. I later added HFCs which made it a little louder, but very tolerable.

I have fast intentions and I love it, I like also how the motordyne sounds.
You can go for FI TDX 18" res and resonated HFC. |
I can't thank you guys enough for weighing in.
Lots to think about. :D Thanks again! |
FI has an exotic tone and the quality is superb. However it takes about 3 months to get it.

when you described what you wanted in an exhaust you perfectly described my fast intentions setup with the 18 inch resonators. It's deep and throat with no drone or rasp and I get complements on it all the time. Also it's not a bad price at like $1300.
