Exhaust leak

Hi everyone i have muffler deletes on my car and i took it to a muffler shop and they said i had a exhaust leak right before the muffler, is this a big deal because its after the o2 sensor will it cause any problems to my engine? Thank you

It shouldn't casue an issue, but it's an easy DIY fix with a tube of RTV. No reason not to fix it.

Oh ok thank you i thought it would effect my cat converter because of some article i read lol
