Tedious, yes, PITA, no.
It's as easy as: 1) take undershroud off 2) remove 1 bolt (iirc) in wheel well on each side 3) gently pull front fascia off When I installed my Gen 3's a couple years ago I was shocked at just how easy it was to remove the fascia.
