Custom muffler.. cheap alternative?

Hi.. this sounds badass. All he did was remove the muffler and have some local guy make some custom pipes and tips. Makes me jizzz. EDIT: OMG! spearfish25 is here

I found out he was selling this for 120$
I PMd him if it was possible for his local guy to make another one for me.
@Rogue Z: I don't want to spend $1k+ on an exhaust system until I finish college for now I'm looking for something to make my nuts vibrate

Yep, that was me. I had a guy on the south side of Chicago fabricate the pipes and tips. Total cost was about $160 and 2 hours of work. The sound was intoxicating...especially the idling and low throttle 'burble'. Damn I miss that. The problem was that at 3500 to 4500 RPM, it was so loud and droning that I thought my ears would bleed.

For anyone interested, I had it done by Tom at One Stop Muffler in East Chicago. I've since swapped it for a Stillen CBE. The Stillen still sounds great but not as loud and without any drone. It's lost the race car exotic sound but still sounds great. With the custom pipes and muffler delete, anyone within 3 blocks of me would turn their head and try to see what supercar was about to pass them by . (they were positive stares, not the pissed off stares)

Tips were SS and 4" diameter I think (slightly smaller than the 4.5" Stillen tips). The pipes for the delete were aluminum...nothing special except for a flange and the tips welded on. This car just wants to sound like a beast without anything special needing to be done to get it that way.

Total cost was $160 for 2 hours of work. Solus bought them from me...maybe he has some pics from the back. I think I pulled them off before I took any pics.

Sorry lol.. I have been meaning to get video of it up. They are on now with test pipes... it really pisses off the gate guards in the morning going on base because they are right beside a brick building when you come in the gate so intentionally pipe them every morning because they irritate me lol.. anyways.. I have been promising spear and a couple people i would get video up.. i have one or two taken.. this weekend we are going to get a start up, take off, and drive by video and an in car video w/ windows up and down if we can... then i have to get it onto the computer, my wife is deployed and i am mildly computer retarded so it will be hell to figure it out but i will get it for you guys.. and the drone is still pretty prevalent but its betweeen 2500-3500 ish on mine.. don't know why its different.. i don't mind it though.. i kinda like it.. i am half deaf from explosions anyways
