Hks hi power catback
So about to be a year with my z and ready to pull trigger on HKS hi power but, had question in mind need input from those of you with hi power hks. It says canister shield removal needed. About 8 months ago i got short tails installed at local shop. And i was under car today to see the canister shield which i do not see, my car is 2015 model. Does nissan no longer uses those or the shop removed it without letting me know?? I have some picture attached.. Also will there be a problem installing hks thank you for the inputs help is appreciated.

Looks like the black shield has been removed.
The install should go without any problems. Just make sure your tips are aligned before you bolt everything together. I've been running this exhaust for a little while and have not any issues. Edit: here's one for sale HKS Hi Power Dual Exhaust Last edited by Trips; 04-02-2016 at 03:55 PM. |

The hiss is cancelled by the muffler design. Im currently running HFC's and I get no hiss as I did running HFC's and FI's CBE. The sound is a little louder than stock till you step on it and it comes alive. No drone at any rpm. A pretty good choice going JDM and of course keep in mind this is NOT designed for MAX hp. IF MAX hp is what you're looking for then FI would be one of the exhausts to look at. |
