Nah I also have the Stillen CBE as well. I did notice the car leaned out a lot after the install on the dyno, well from the rich stock figure.

I guess my only recommendation to you is to install the G3 intakes, and hopefully that will 'balance out' your car's system. Gaining another ~14whp won't hurt either! (I dyno'd the G3s having established a baseline with just the HFCs and Stillen CBE, and I gained 14.7 from just the G3s!)

Ya no cel here!

evse82 12-22-2009 05:35 PM

Yeah the 14.7whp would be nice haha... I'd be sitting just on the 300whp then which would be nice..... I think I'm gonna invest in them and hope that the damn light stays off....

this worked on my RSX with longtubes (before Hondata :))

Theres basically a tiny hole in one so that it reduces the exhaust it receives drastically. I'd imagine this plus the O2 design on the HFC/Testpipes would do the trick just fine.

There is a tutorial in the DIY section on how to use the non-fouler method. I used it myself when I intalled my Berk Test pipe. 3500 miles later no cels.

Yeah but did you get the code? If so was it a P2A00?

i got a cel with my HFC's after 60 miles on them and i got the same code...im pretty sure its an exhaust leak due to the way i installed them...or maybe that i didnt use O2 safe permatex (silicone gasket maker)

If it is an exhaust leak that would be awesome, I hadn't gotten the gaskets so my mechanic made custom ones using a material which he said might burn away (on the outer layers - the middle was a metal) I think mine is leaking as I hear a slight ticking etc coming from the cats. Hopefully this is causing the CEL.

I get a fuking CEL almost every 1,000 miles. I just gave in and bought a small $50 OBD2 reader to keep in the car to erase it when ever it decides to show up. The rasp and the constant CELs have me seriously considering the resonated GTM TP.

What code are you getting? I keep resetting mine but it comes back after a few days. I'm changing out the gaskets next Saturday so hopefully it clears up the leak. I'm hoping this is the cause as the P2A00 code is really vague.
