just as a curiousity, I was wondering if anyone here know how the Nismo Exhaust (Not the S-tune) but the H-Configuration that comes in a stock Nismo 370Z compares to these. I know the sound may not be as aggressive or loud, but I was wondering if anyone knows if the Nismo Exhaust actually has more gain in power than rest of these aftermarket exhaust systems?

The reason I ask is because I was kind of interested in getting the Nismo H-Config exhaust system if possible, but I could find any info on it. I did read some people that has a Nismo 370 swapping out for an aftermarket as upgrades....can anyone confirm of able to give any spec on it so I could compare it with the rest of these exhaust systems to help me make a decision. I know the price of the Nismo exhaust system will be easily twice as much, but I kind of want to stick if Nismo brand stuff unless there's a huge power difference between the aftermarkets and the Nismo H-Config pipe.

I know that the H-Configuration "Nismo" Exhaust is said to place an additional 18HP to the already 332HP Motor....Thereby advertising the Nismo Edition 370Z to have 350HP....This however is less than actual WHP. From what I've read on this site, there are other Aftermarket Exhaust Systems that produce more WHP for the Z than the Nismo Exhaust.

The reason why you can't find any "Nismo" stuff online yet or on their site is because from what I heard, "Nismo" is still in the process of R&D for this car...Also a friend who works at Nissan told me that "Nismo" won't release any aftermarkets for the 370Z anytime soon...Reason being is that if they were to offer their "Nismo" aftermarkets for the Z, then Nissan's sales of the "Nismo" would drop...this is supposidely an agreement that "Nismo" and Nissan made....makes sense...I mean why would you buy a "Nismo" Z when you could buy a base or sports package for less and buy the afterrmarket "Nismo's" later at a cheaper price then buying the Nismo package?

Actually the +18 is from the exhaust & tune.
You can buy the Nismo parts already, but they are extremely overpriced that if you want Nismo parts you need to just buy it from a dealership first. Nissan Motorsport might still be working on more parts.

Thank you for the update. I figured that there's a Tune in additional to Exhaust that makes up those numbers, it's just that Nissan made kind of a big deal about the H-Pipe Configuration increasing HP, and all the aftermarket ones i've seen are X-Configuration or Y-Config. Personally, I don't know exactly what the benefits are. But I do know I would like to build up my car for performance while keeping in mind what I'm getting is the most bang for the buck. I haven't done enough research on a lot of aftermarket parts, but I just figured it's safer to stick with Nismo parts mainly because it sometimes fits and look nicer. (i.e. I like the canister look of the Nismo Z over those funcky diagonal mounted exhaust canisters - even though I know it performs better, it looks kind of tacky and not factory like)

Thanks again for the input.

Anyone still updating this sticky?

Really looking forward to pulling the trigger on an exhaust and not sure which one.

I want gains. Plain and simple. Stillen appears to be the way to go, but the HKS Hi Power has the looks, but haven't seen any dynos for gains on this exhaust.

Hi Everyone, Just wanna share results from my Zs' Dyno Test

My Z is equipped with the following Mods:

1. Powerhouse Amuse R1 Titan RS Silent STTi Exhaust
2. Powerhouse Amuse Super Silent Sports Catalytic Converter Set
3. Powerhouse Amuse R1 Front Pipe,
4. HKS Cold Air Intake System Racing Suction Reloaded

The result showed that it reached 311RWHP @ 7400RPM on the 3rd run... Never test for the base WHP so im not sure how much gain the Z made. Probably 20-25RWHP gain...

Here's some pics:

Hello all,

Sorry I've been really poor at keeping this up to date. I'm slowly adding more exhausts now, though. Let me know if I'm missing anything and I'll add it ASAP.
