Which exhaust should you get? What system sounds best?

These are all hard questions that we all grapple with when we make our decisions in upgrading our exhaust systems from stock. It's only been a year, and already there are a wide variety of exhaust systems to choose from. It can be almost overwhelming.

To make things a little easier for the first-time buyer, I've compiled a short informational thread that gives an overview of the systems available. I've tried to distill whatever information would be important in making a decision; I'll keep it updated as I see new information / systems flow in. No huge pictures, no embedded videos, no "in for (insert deliverable here)" comments - everything is linked out so the thread itself doesn't get too cluttered.

This is a quick reference guide ONLY! I intend it to be a starting point for your research; once you isolate a few systems you might like, feel free to search the forums for more detailed information I might have missed. Or PM me and I will update this thread if I feel it is necessary. I am in no way affiliated with any of these companies (I own an FI exhaust if you must know), and I do not intend to present a biased view.
