Headers question

Hey fam,

Thinking of getting aftermarket headers just wondering your thoughts on the brands out there.

I currently run a weird setup... Fujitsubo CBE and Berk HFC's. There is a lot of rasp when you put the pedal to the floor. Would headers make the rasp louder and more noticeable?

Regards,

Long tube headers: fast intentions or ppe
Short headers: Z1 (I believe they only pair to Z1 cats because of flange design)

Could go stillen, but most would say not worth as far as power goes, but if you like the sound by all means go for it. As far as rasp, i would imagine headers could make it worse, but dont take my word for it.

Full FI exhaust. LTH's, 12" resonators, cbe. :D The mike is taped between the tail pipes.

My car isn't running yet but I can tell you PPE long tube headers are loud as hell on a dyno even with Stillen exhaust.

I have the same setup as rusty, however I also have a non resonated x pipe. I swapped them out for a bit, I couldn't take the rasp after a while. As for your cbe I'm not sure, if you do get LTH get fast intentions they aren't as raspy as PPE.
