Eps big bore TB's

Yeah I've been waiting. Highly interested. I of course know that N/A isn't going to get much but i know that ultimately I'll have a turbo and it'll play out

Need to do a idle relearn with them if not idling correctly. If you have ecutek/cable then it's easy just click the idle relearn icon done.

I've had them on my G37 for a few months I was a test car.

No I do not have any dynos as of yet. I plan to do that soon, but it will not be a true before and after will be on the same dyno though. I just added JWT cams and changed out my ebay exhaust to a FI CF. Car has ran 12.7@109 car is 320/265 before cams and exhaust.

I got out to the drag strip too. My best time previously was 13.3 and that was pretty much everything. This weekend I made two passes but had terrible burn outs both times and only got a 13.6 and a 13.3. The car felt like it could get high 12's with a good launch whereas previously 13.3 was about the best it had.

I was hoping to bring back an awesome slip but it is what it is. The track was packed and I got there late.

Nice!! I've learned you have to get to the track when it opens the gates to get in runs. Especially if it's a busy track.

Hoping to hit the track Friday or Sat.

My friend just did 12.6 again in his FBO non tuned 7AT 370z on Sunday.

I'm interested in these, but I need to think out loud here. Even if you get bigger throttle bodies, would your stock intake holes where the throttle bodies bolt to not still be a bottle neck?

Yes, there still is a bottle neck with the manifold but the larger TB's will create more air velocity.

Edit -

The TB's come with a billet aluminum adapter plate that tappers into the stock upper manifold.

Hey Guys , those are my Eps throttles on FB and myG37 , I had a hard time getting them to relearn the idle idk what I did wrong if anything at all , my car is an 08 with uprev software . I contact Jeff or Jake ( I forget ) from eps And he told me I need to change some settings in my time before the car would learn to idle . My tuner gave me the run around and this is my daily so i cleaned my stock throttles ( never did before) And it ran so smooth and much better than before so I decided I should leave it alone . I have full bolt ons so idk if that affects anything , at the same time I added blox velocity stack 3" filters , eps did mention something about air velocity idk . I have takeda intakes, m370 manifold , exotic speed headers , kinetix hfc , garage line x pipe mid pipe( custom fitted ) , Megan axle back , z1 clutch fW combo , 4.08 gears .... Sorry for the wall of txt EPS throttles still available btw

Well i bought Dieselg37s and got them installed. I'm trying to get something scheduled with Seb. The idle gets kinda wacky even after idle relearn. Just to much air going in at idle. But other then idle it runs with new life! My butt dyno says more mid range! Once i get over to Seb and get some numbers I'll post them.

As for those 75mm maxima throttles, I'm not sure they'd fit under the bar. And for the wiring, the eps throttles come with an adaptor harness for the one side.

your problem is that the car just needs more tuning. i have successfully tuned over half a dozen cars to a smooth idle using these throttle bodies. a lazy tuner will not be able to recalibrate these. you are going to have to tune the mafs. most idle troubles result from a voltage imbalance between the two mafs in the tubes. with ecutek, its easy to work around this bc it has two maf tables, without it, the tubes must be clocked. your tuner really needs to know what he is doing if he is putting on big tbs and intake tubes, or your end results arent going to be as good as they are for other people.

I already have ecutek, i just haven't gotten over to my tuner yet. Thanx for the input.

I don't think you will get a definite answer, since the variables from each car will be different. Just because the Tbs flow more doesn't necessarily translate into more power.
