cleaning K&N filters

I have the Stillen gen 3 CAI and am thinking of cleaning the filters soon. Before getting the bumper off and finding out I don't have enough cleaner, just wanted to ask if one K&N recharge kit is enough to clean the 2 conical filters in the Stillen CAI. Should I order 2 recharge/cleaning kits or is 1 enough?

One kit is should plenty. I bought the kit from auto zone and looks like there's enough left over for another round.

One kit last's me 3 cleanings. You don't want to spray too much oil as it will fubar your MAF sensors.

I ran out of oil before I ran out of cleaner. (After multiple cleanings).

i believe ur only to oil the one surface facing out from car so it doesnt affect MAF

Absolutely correct. NEVER oil the back side. Only the exterior.

I think he meant to only oil the side of the filter facing toward the front of the car, I oiled all sides but very sparingly and did not have any issues this past year.
