invidia gemini question

I did some searching and could not find much. I currently have an invidia gemini and a k&n intake. I like the sound but would love it to sound a little deeper. Would a resonator delete give me what i am looking for? Does it affect anything in the long run?

anybody???

Seems the only way to get help on this forum is if you have F.I exhaust and want to share how great it is

I think that deleting resonators would make it louder and more raspy on throttle. It might make it deeper at idle and cruise though.

I'm not really sure what would make it sound deeper all around other than going with a completely different catback. The dimensions of the muffler cans and tube pattern affect the sound quality as far as I understand it.

My Berk exhaust is rather high pitched as well. It sounds like an adolescent Chewbacca that has just been bit in the *** by rattlesnake. Sorry I can't be of more help :tiphat:

thank you for the reply and the chewbacca comparison lol. I think i'm just gonna give it a try and if it fails lol I can always have it welded back on.. will just be a good old fashion waste of $$$

I have the Invidia Gemini exhaust. Try test pipes first. You won't be disappointed. I have ARK test pipes.

Thanks for the response, i think im gonna go that route. You needed a tune after? Do you have any vids of ur car?? I keep thinking it pointless to go cutting the exhaust apart after payin $$$ for it

I had the car tuned, yes.

Instead of paying around $1k or more for test pipes and a tune, a set of G3's may be an easier route (if you don't already have some).
