So that's all the pictures of the ported lower intake manifold from Z1. I'm installing it all Sunday so I can take more pictures before then if any of you would like. Now I'll post pics of the ported plenum.

Again I can take other pictures if someone would like. As far as the finished product the build quality looks great on both pieces and while the ported plastic looks rough the surfaces are very smooth to the touch. There's no excess epoxy between the two half a of the plenum and to the untrained eye it would look as though the two pieces were never split.

This last pictures are for anyone having trouble visualizing the plenum and lower manifold actually connected as they will be installed in the car.

Just ordered my upper and lower intake plenum and ported runners. They're waiting on cores to build them for me and they said mid-next week I should get them. Hopefully I can get these last cat bolts off, test pipes on and my crank and alternator pulleys swapped out before then haha. I'm definitely looking forward to hearing your experience putting them on! And hurry and ship your cores back!!! Haha

Well if nothing else I'm sending my cores back Monday. I'll keep everyone posted on the dyno results.

So I wasn't able to install the lower intake manifold Sunday. I was unsure about how to remove the fuel rail and since I was by myself without another car I decided to wait till this next Sunday to finish the install. I did however go ahead and install the ported plenum. I'm going to try to do a dyno run tonight after work, like 10-11pm central time, and see what the difference is with just this mod then install the lower manifold. I have to say based on feel from driving, I know that's incredible inaccurate, the difference is similar to when I installed the stillen gen 3 intake. Mid to high rpm the car seems to be pulling harder to redline. Also I noticed more traction issues going from 1st gear to second and from second to third.

Any dyno numbers?

I'm heading down to Z1 on the 20th for a tune. I didn't do a base run, which makes my numbers much less useful, I do apologize for that but hopefully some extrapolation can give an idea of the gains to be had.

Yes but for now I'm leaving it at inconclusive. Somehow I've lost a lot of power after these mods and a tune. I'm working with my tuner and Z1 to try to track down the problem. I'm swapping a stock manifold and plenum on Sunday and doing a before and after dyno to see what that changes and how. While I'm doing this I'm going to go through all my work and make sure there are no vacuum leeks or anything installed incorrectly on my end before I give a full review. I don't want to make any unwarranted claims against anyone or anything till I have some more info. Your welcome to pm me if you want me to go more in depth but for now this is all I will say publicly on the subject.

Yeah I reinstalled just the stock upper plenum and left the port lower manifold on. I did a before Dyno where I reset the ecu then did a run with the Z1 parts. Then we changes out the upper plenum and reset the ecu while the car was on the Dyno and did another run. I gained 5 horsepower going back to stock. So this weekend I'll do the same with the lower intake manifold. I've been speaking with Z1 who has been very helpful. Once I change the part out I'll let them know what I find. We are trying to determine if there's an issue with the plenum or something else on the car. I will keep everyone updated. I'm not in anyway speaking badly of Z1. They have been very helpful to me. Things happen and I'm not total sure it's an issue with there part yet. I just wanted to keep the community updated.

I might just hang on to my stock parts for a little bit until you've got a better idea of what's going on then instead of sending them back for the core charge. I'm a little worried since I don't have any before numbers to compare to...
